In an article published in the World Socialist Website about the violent repression against workers, students and ordinary citizens in France during the mass protests that erupted on May 1 against the so-called "pension reform" imposed by President Macron, the authors informed about the following:
"At the UN Human Rights Council, Sweden called on France to “take measures to, in a transparent manner, address allegations regarding excessive use of force by police and gendarmerie against protesters during demonstrations.”
Macron is an ASSH*OLE and his regime should be taken down by a workers revolutionary general strike, but Sweden is in no position to lecture Macron on "excessive use of force by police".
I have written elsewhere that: The Swedish Security Police (Säkerhetspolisen) enforces a system of surveillance and repression of persons deemed a "threat" to the security of the Swedish State or the interests of the Swedish State. Historically, the radical left has been a constant target for repression and other abuses for its perceived "lack of loyalty" to the Swedish political-economy. Persons are arbitrarily declared "threats to security" at the whim of the Säkerhetspolisen without basis in any type of objective and impartial procedural evidentiary process. In April 2023, the Swedish government increased the budget for the security police (Säkerhetspolisen or SÄPO); which also functions as the political police force of the Swedish State, thus increasing the scope and intensity of potential repression against those deemed "disloyal" or "security threats" at the subjective whim of Säkerhetspolisen operatives.
In 2023, under the pretext that there exists an "immigrant crime wave" (in itself an overt anti migrant generalization promoted in the Swedish State and corporate "free press" media); there is the systematic violation and negation of presumption of innocence for persons with migrant backgrounds in the Swedish court system through the systematic abuse of the "flight risk" loophole by prosecutors and Police. Migrants (especially those of an African and/or Arabic background) are regularly harassed, arrested, imprisoned and sentenced on arbitrary grounds by private security guards, Police, prosecutors, and courts in Sweden. The evidence is in the overpopulated Swedish prisons, jails and detention centers which are filled with inmates of an immigrant background (mostly Arabic / Middle Eastern).
The Swedish State does not address allegations of abuses by Swedish Police when they are presented by migrants, in fact there is no impartial process whereby a person (of any background), who has been abused by Swedish Police can have their grievances independently and impartially considered. In Sweden allegations of abuse against the Police are investigated....by the Police. (!)
Good luck with your complaints of "excessive use of force by police" or any other type of Police abuse if you find yourself inside the police state SH*THOLE svenska samhället.
